We have been taught to look at the body through symptoms and disease. Find what is wrong. Name it. Treat it. We have been doing this for so long that it can be difficult to imagine another way.

Terrain Theory is a very different way of understanding health, and it is a big part of what I teach. Terrain Theory turns that thinking around.

What are the conditions within the body? What is happening with digestion and assimilation, circulation and oxygenation, elimination, stress, immune function, microbial balance, hormones and metabolism? How are these things influencing each other? And what happens when we stop separating everything and start looking at the whole person?

This is where Dried Blood Analysis becomes such a powerful tool.

Dried Blood Analysis showing blood patterns, rings and terrain areas examined during the workshop

I am going to teach you how to prepare dried blood, work with the microscope, recognize the patterns you are seeing and, importantly, begin understanding what they mean together. You will learn to look beyond an individual marker and start seeing the relationships within the terrain.

Much of our time will be spent at the microscope, looking at blood and learning what you are actually seeing. You will also be looking at your own blood, which brings an entirely different dimension to learning. As you begin recognizing patterns, you will be able to ask questions about what you are seeing in yourself and follow those questions through the workshop.

We will explore the different systems and pathways of the body and how they can show themselves in dried blood. We will talk about digestion, circulation, elimination, stress, immune and microbial balance, hormones, metabolism, minerals, connective tissue and the organs and systems that help us put the picture together.

And then we take it further.

If the blood is giving us information about the terrain, what can we actually do with that information?

We will work with herbs, food, nutrition and practical protocols. I will teach you how I put the pieces together, how I decide what deserves attention, why I choose particular herbs and supports, and how we can use what we are seeing to make sensible decisions without trying to address every marker separately.

This is a small workshop because I want to be able to work with you. There will be time at the microscope, time to ask questions, time to go back and look again, and time to work through something when you don’t understand what you are seeing. I want you involved, looking, questioning and learning through doing.

You will receive a copy of my book, Dried Blood Analysis, as well as a Student Manual that we will work with during the course and that you can take home and continue using.

Every participant will also receive a personalized Dried Blood Analysis report. We will examine and photograph your blood during the workshop, and your report will bring together what we are seeing in your own terrain. You won’t just leave knowing more about Dried Blood Analysis. You will leave knowing more about yourself.

Whether you want to add Dried Blood Analysis to the work you already do, are beginning a new direction in natural health, or simply want to understand your own health at a much deeper level, you will leave with something you can actually use.

I want you to understand what you are looking at, why it matters, what questions to ask next, and how herbs, food and protocols can be brought into the picture.

You will leave knowing how to look at blood differently, and you will also leave looking at health differently.

A Special Collaboration with Elizabeth Wysen

There is another reason you may want to come a little earlier.

Elizabeth Wysen will be holding her retreat here at Living Ground immediately before my Dried Blood Analysis Workshop. We have purposefully put these two experiences together, with a day between them to rest, integrate and enjoy Living Ground.

Elizabeth’s work focuses on the spiritual and emotional aspects of healing, while my workshop takes you into Terrain Theory, the blood, the microbiome, herbs, food and the physical terrain. Bringing the two together gives you the opportunity to explore health from very different directions within one experience.

You do not have to attend both. You are very welcome to come only for Dried Blood Analysis.

If you would like to experience the complete program with both Elizabeth and me, the full package pricing is:

Offsite + Lunches, Snacks and Drinks

$4,150

Both Workshops + Shared Room + All Meals

$4,825

Both Workshops + Private Room + All Meals

$4,990

You can learn more about Elizabeth’s retreat and register for her portion directly with her.
