The Purple Carrot Club is the online recording of how Living Ground, Suelo Vivo was seeded. This is the coming together of a group of people (old, young, local, international) to help each other and create a service that changes the world. It is about the soul of soil.
About a year ago, I, Leisha was gifted a scholarship to learn soil microbiology via the Soil Food Web (Dr Elaine). During my studies, my partner, Jimi, suddenly passed away. During his last weeks, we were graciously given the opportunity to talk about his dreams. That is how the Purple Carrot Club was planted.
Our land is the home of this “club” and the makers of the project and business Living Ground, Suelo Vivo. Here we share the journey and walk toward really making a difference in this world one compost pile and one soil test at a time.
