Shullo Seeds / Semillas de Shullo

A small native Andean perennial herb, commonly identified as Oenothera rosea and also known in Ecuador as Hierba del Golpe (Hierba del Blow). Shullo is traditionally valued in Andean herbal medicine and is one of the aromatic medicinal plants used in traditional Ecuadorian horchata preparations. The leaves, flowers, and stems have traditionally been used to support digestion, healthy fluid elimination, and liver and kidney function. The plant contains naturally occurring flavonoids and other phenolic compounds with antioxidant activity.

Una pequeña hierba perenne nativa de los Andes, comúnmente identificada como Oenothera rosea y conocida en Ecuador también como Hierba del Golpe. El shullo es tradicionalmente valorado en la medicina herbal andina y es una de las plantas medicinales aromáticas utilizadas en la preparación de la horchata tradicional ecuatoriana. Sus hojas, flores y tallos se han utilizado tradicionalmente para apoyar la digestión, la eliminación saludable de líquidos y la función del hígado y los riñones. La planta contiene flavonoides naturales y otros compuestos fenólicos con actividad antioxidante.
